Genealogy blogs

Post by Al.Robs »

I've seen a few links to blogs on here and wondered if many of you have a blog or website where you post/record their progress? It seems like a good way for relatives to keep up with findings etc. My family are scattered across the country and it would be useful to have one place they could all go.
If anyone has any advice, that would be great, in particular recommendations of which platform to use. It's all a bit confusing and the choices seem to be blogger, tumblr, wordpress or a website builder like this kind of thing http://website.1and1.co.uk/how-to-build-a-website so I could do with some pointers.

Thanks in advance :)

I have never used one and I dont think really read one?
I use Tribal Pages and family can check on there and or contribute as well as saving my tree. Not that it has had much work done for a while.

Your post may be more suited in software in the general section? Just my thoughts.
Jo :)
