From a marriage event of Robert Dodman son of Wm. Dodman ( father ) & Mary Degraw ( mother ). I obtained Mary's maiden name as " DEGRAW ". The wedding took place on 26 Sep 1899, Hamilton, On., Canada. At age 28 I have Mary's birth year est. 1823, born Cranbro, Canada West, Province - Canada West, Ontario, Oxford County, District # 27, Blenheim District, Sub-District # 263. In an 1861 census I have Mary, Living, Zone Township, Kent County, Ontario, Canada. This is Thamesville where Mary & Wm. lived & died. Their religion was Western Methodist. In the 1861 census Mary was 35 yrs. of age & her birth year was est. 1826. I also have a death record that states her name as Mary Ann. Her death date is 26 Apr 1874 Zone Township, Kent County, Ontario, (Thamesville). At age 52 & her birth year est. at 1822.

Mary as I am told could not read or write, she is of French Ethnic not Dutch.

I am interested in finding parents & any siblings Mary may have had. This is a " COMPLETE BRICK WALL " for me & this is the end of all the help I can offer to find out any more information about her!!!!!!!!!

I went to Oxford County 1 day myself searching Mary out, O.G.S. ( Ontario Genealogy Society ) does not have any information at all that goes back this far!!!!!!!!! The people of Oxford County O.G.S. were very surprised with all the information I had!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do have 1 more piece of information for this letter though, instead of Cranbro, " Drumbo " is part & very near to, Blenhiem District, Oxford County!!!!!!!!!!!
