hello
Hi folks, I have just found this forum so thought I would introduce myself. I am indeed an old tynesider now living in North Yorkshire, retired and have an interest in genealogy along with many other interests, none of which are obsessive, I can take or leave them for months on end but find I always come back to them,
I have been interested in my family tree for the last 7 years and with help have made a lot of progress, one of the biggest surprises was after moving to North Yorks ( for my job - now retired 6 years ) I find I am now living within 3 miles of where my fathers ancestors have lived for the past 150 years. I shall monitor the forum with interest mainly to pick up tips on how to record/print/present my records, also to find anything I can about searching for cracks in blank walls.
In return I will offer any assistance I can but I think most of you will know more about the subject than I do
So, introduction over, my best regards to all,
George

Hi George and welcome
pop a post in the General discussion if you need any help with any from Yorkshire or elsewhere in UK
if you have any ancestors from the Black Country Area we have a dedicated section just scroll
down the main board to see that.
