All born Lye Worcs.

is shown as a widow in 1901

She marries a William Dainty and appears on 1911 Census with children from ist marriage

1911 Census 86 Chapel Street Lye Stourbridge Worcs.

Married 14 years, no children

and he is also shown as a widow in 1901

But only marriage I can find is 1896 St. Mark Stambermill 1896 Maria Hill and William Dainty
which ties up with 1911 Census
but conflicts with 1901 Census for both as they are shown as widowed

If he or she disappeared for seven years can't they be declared dead? So if one walked out on another and they both applied for the ruling they might both be declared widowed.
