ARC TBC................Lawley Dunn Connection

Post by nelly »

I have looked up the marriage of Donald Lawley & Millicent Dunn
11 Feb 1907 St Andrews Netherton
Donald William Lawley - 23 - batchelor - engineer fitter - (number unclear ?) North Street – Thomas William Lawley – engineer
Millicent Dunn – 19 – spinster – 4 North Street – Joseph Dunn (dead)- chainmaker
Both signed
Witnesses George Wellings & Frances Dunn

So looking at one witness Frances Dunn, it looks like Millicent Dunn connects to this part of the bcc tree (hope the hyperlink works!)
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/family-tree/bcconnections/301130/94650/Frances-Dunn-Family

Does anyone have the 1901 census to look Millicent & Frances Dunn up to see if they connect (siblings ?)

Also, looking at the other witness George Wellings, does anyone know if he is linked to the Wellings of the factory in Old Hill?
Its just because I know Donald Lawley went to school with one of the Howard Lee's (Shop in Halesowen Road, Old Hill) & one the the Burton's of the Burton and Delingpole factory in Old Hill (apparently, he made some of the drop hampers used in the factory there). I can't remember if he knew them aswell.

peterd: good lord man, posting at 12:44am. Didn't know this site had a night shift!

Anyway, just had a peep at the bcc tree; looks good. Just one thing, Donald William Lawley's mom & dad are Thomas W Lawley & Annie Fisher as the link here:

Sorry, should have said earlier.
