I need a new bed ..............mine has seen so much use

No.....it is for my son when he comes back......rather than the cardboard box he
has been sleepin in.

I quite fancied one of these memory foam topper ones on a mattress
The Sealy posturepaedic memory support is a good one Wolvie likes that one.

Anyone got any ideas or suggestions for beds they recommend?

And any suggestions where to go to look for one in West Mids?

However to get back on topic the most important part of a bed is the mattress.Mind you if it's for your student son will he care that much.
You're on about snorers but i tell you something my wife uses an old fashioned alarm clock.God knows why we have an electric one and she sets her mobile one for the rare occasions she has to get up before me.Anyway this clock has the loudest tick imaginable but not always.Sometimes i'm woke up in the middle of the night by the a sudden noise of loud ticking.I put it on the landing and it wakes the rest of the house up!! I have to wrap it in a towel and put it in the bathroom.
Then there's her bedside lamp but i'll tell you about that at a later stage.Now i know you can't wait to hear the story but it'll keep for another day.

Memory Foam is fantastic . I have a bad back ,and I have found it less painful with a memory foam mattress . As regards wind up clocks , we have one too ,but I make my husband keep it on his side of the bed . He always puts it on the floor because he says the tick-tock gets on his nerves . I cant hear it

It was made for astronauts, ,and yes it does remember the posture of the person who is using it . When you first use it ,its a very strange feeling ,but u get use to it . ........a polyurethane material that is sensitive to pressure and temperature, used especially in mattresses, where it moulds to the shape of an individual's body.This is interesting ...............http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Memory_foam
