Thanks Loads Rocky - I wondered where she's disappeared to - shows how useful the electoral rolls are.

Found her daughter and son in law here :
1939/40 : 34, Tipton Road, Tividale - James Brown, Clara Brown and Emma Willetts

Clara was married to James Brown and her maiden name is Rowley. I wondered who Emma Willetts was, so looked for a marriage for Emma Rowley.

Wish they had all the Rowley Electoral Rolls at Smethwick. I won't be in a rush to go to Stafford again, unless I go by train :-)
