Have you swallowed the Oxford English Dictionary, Thesaurus, and any other text book on English grammar you could lay your hands on? Must have been hard to digest!! :-)

 Oxymoron was,you won't believe this, my favourite word in Scrabble.I was accused of being a moron myself for making it up but it's when incongruous or contradictory terms are combined.
A brilliant example is "a deafening silence".
DT are you reading this?

Not reading , don't understand . Thick as two planks. lalalalal  :silent:

No snoopysue, not the OED, unless you call it Google. I know that NL wouldn't google as she's literate. Must be googling, as some of the words they use in the U.S. of A. The word "period" instead of a full stop! What's all that dash dash (hyphen hyphen) -- nonsense. Hand on heart, I can honestly say that I've never heard of hyphen hyphen in anything that I've written or read.

Don't want to talk Football Mally. How about cricket - no, forget that as well
