Arc tbc..............Baker/Grice

Post by nessa »

I am going round in circles trying to confirm that Thomas baker born 1805 married Phoebe Grice they are on BCC with a possible marriage 18 April 1825 St Peter Wolverhampton.
I have been contacted by some one who is not convinced, but in the 1851 census Bromley I have

Thomas Baker 46 born Kingswinford
Phoebe 44
Isaiah 24
Elizabeth 21
Thomas 21
Joseph 19
Samuel 17
Ann 15
phoebe 12
Isaiah 8 months
Thomas 2
I am not sure if in the same house or nextdoor are heading relative
Joseph Grice 49
Rhoda 47
Samuel 46
Rhoda 11
Sarah 6
The Grice family are all born Sedgley as is Phoebe Grice/Baker, could phoebe be a sibling to them.
I think the evidence proves the link between the two families.

Thanks nessa

Thank you for your help I think I have the right Phoebe Grice. Following Joseph and Rhoda a little more they had a daughter also Rhoda born 1842 Sedgley she married a Thomas Hartland 1859 and emigrated to Queensland 1879.
