Of course you're allowed to disagree Janet. It's just that it's something you very rarely do and it kind of threw me.
You may be right about orange brassieres ( i'm getting to like writing that word, should i worry?)
Anyway it's been an interesting discussion for me.How was it for you?

This is true Robert ....I normally sit on the fence, you know keep quiet but I felt it necessary
to speak up and be heard on this occasion Rob.

Do you think that Orange is an important word for you Rob?
Why Orange?
And why the use of Brassieres instead of the modern word Bra?

Have you considered therapy?

Actually i know a little about metre or meter in poetry. The pattern of stressed and unstressed sylables.
"Shall i compare thee to a summers day"
The basic rhythm that dominates a poem, like music or dancing, that's meter. The rhythm that sets the mood and understanding of the verse.
What do others on this Forum think of this discussion?
Oh and my example about orange brassieres was a form of enjambment although you tend to disagree as usual.

isn't this a contradictory of terms ?

you no need to worry rob as wev'e worried about you for years
A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

:problem: A contradiction occurs when the very statement of the argument contradicts the claims it purports. An inconsistency arises, in this case, because the act of utterance, rather than the content of what is said, undermines its conclusion.

Good morning Janet and DT who seems to be enjoying this thread.
 Oxymoron was,you won't believe this, my favourite word in Scrabble.I was accused of being a moron myself for making it up but it's when incongruous or contradictory terms are combined.
A brilliant example is "a deafening silence".
DT are you reading this?
