Alderman of Worcester dies- curious.

Post by CRAIGLETS »

Dec 1838- A few days since died our old friend, Mr.B Stokes whol lived long enough to be an Alderman of the City of Worcester.

Would like to know more on this individual if at all possible- prehapsthere might be articles in a newspaper about him if he was an Alderman?

I think that would be him- I will go online tomorrow and order the will to see what all it mentions.

Hi Craiglets you will get there!

you can add this information to your post in social history
just go into edit and add it.

re it being BC not convinced looks like town of worcester so moving to general discussion till we find if it is a Black Country Village coming under Worcestershire area...if we find it is under the umbrella of the Black Country will add him to connections...

doesnt stop us adding more for you though!
