I know you are busy but I may be able to help with the above link on BCC. Clearing my records, I have found reference to the family of Emmanuel Harper, son of Benjamin and Betsey (nee Worton).

My notes show the marriage of Emmanuel to a Sarah Ann Emery in the Stourbridge District in the December quarter of 1872; BMD reference 6c 356.

They can be found in census records from 1881 (Windmill Hill, Cradley) to 1901 (Cox's Lane, Rowley Regis). Emmanuel died between 1901 and 1911 and Sarah Ann can be found in the 1911 census, widow, at 21 Haden Road, Rowley Regis.
They had at least 7 children; Thomas Egbert (1873), Elizabeth (1875), Ruth (1877), Ralph (1879), Agnes (1882), Beatrice (1885) and May (1894).

I am sure your experts can verify these records. Hope this is helpful. :?:

Jan,

I meant to add that in respect of Emmanuel's grandfather, Thomas, I have a note that his wife was a Hannah Hill and that they married in St Thomas Church, Dudley on 17 July 1814 but I cannot verify this from online records; perhaps another contributor can help with this :?: .
