Hi from Norfolk
Hi, I am Jim from Norfolk and have just returned to my research after a break. I was a bit disappointed to find PAF and PAF Companion are no more as I am working on a new PC and was hoping to download them again, so now I'm looking at the alternatives. I do most of my research in Ancestry.co.uk but dont want to be a permanent subscriber. Any advice on (free) packages that support wide format printers would be welcome, PAF Companion used to be brilliant but a lot of the other packages only seem to work at A4 and no bigger.

Re: Hi from Norfolk
Welcome to the forum. I've not tried printing anything out from it but MyHeritage's Family Tree Builder has the ability to create charts which can then be saved to a .pdf for printing, as one of the options is to reduce page size to A4 I assume that by not choosing that option the chart would be printed according to the instructions given to the .pdf printer.
Currently investigating the Hillmans of Sussex.
