Help! I don't know what i'm doing!!

I am a complete novice at this, I am trying to research my mothers past she was adopted in 1943, I have her adoption certificate with both parents names, I also now have her original birth certificate. I have attempted to find both biological parent. I know her father was in one of two RAF squadrons and was killed in action but I don't know how to distinguish which man he was and as for her mother I am absolutely stumped! Could anyone offer some advice please. Many Thanks in advance. :grin:

if you want us to guide you through the process of finding some one put a post in the beginner section if you want use to find the info for you put a post in the general section included the information you have on your parents in the post
