Thanks for posting that San, most interesting. We forget how the Non Conformists were vilified for their beliefs, their steadfastness in the face of adversity was just awe inspiring. I found a Wm Foley living Ridgeacre on the 1759 and 1766 Manor Suit Roll.

Thanks Lin, I initially thought that that Ambrose's father might have also been Ambrose (the one mentioned in that article)

Could be San, Wm Foley Married Esther Parish 29.9.1768 Halesowen, maybe son Ambrose was born at Grannies home in Tamworth The Manor Suit Rolls trace the family back to the 1750's. Another puzzle
