We will have those Ashes back thankyou!

Post by MarkCDodd »

I knew it was really stupid for the English Press to rip apart the Aussies and proclaim that this Ashes tour would be a pushover.

Yes, the Aussies did bad whilst over there and deserved to be ridiculed for their performance.

Everybody knows it is a different proposition when we get rid of those slow spinner wickets and get back to good old Aussie dusty, cracked and hard as concrete ones!

So far it has been a major embarrassment for the Poms who can't produce an innings over 200!

I hope they find some form before the Melbourne Boxing Day test.

I am hoping to join the 100,000 spectators on Day 1 and enjoy some hard fought test cricket.

Well i for one am glad the Aussies are back playing brilliant cricket.I was amazed when they were last in England at the lack of quality in their side.
If the also the West Indians can get back to the level they had when i was a kid we'll start seeing some amazing cricket again.

Not much to comment about I'd have thought. Despite not playing particularly well they're stuffing us, our batsmen seem incapable of solid, conscientious play, our bowlers only do well when the conditions suit their style of bowling and our fielding has been no more than average, with some pretty dire performances from key men. One bright light is some promising stuff from a couple of the youngsters.
