Hi could somebody please tell me if the probate entry for Darracott Seymour, died 1959, names another family member? Thanks

Re: Probate details
Yeh, I double checked the spellings, as I thought it said "Pearce" rather than "Peace" - maybe wishful thinking on the part of the parents!! I've got a gr grandmother with the middle name of "Silence" - my mum wasn't sure of her surname (she thought Jones - turned out to be Smith), but the middle name rather clinched it!!

Would you mind looking at Gladys Loura [Laura] Seymour probate 1959 to see if that is her?
(She was baptised Gladys Laura I think)

She's from Sheffield - (it is Laura on the image), no family mentioned, only a solicitor.

Thats odd she died 1859 and the will 1960? Is that right or a typo?

Yes, a typo - she died 1959 and the will was proved in 1960 - the eyes will see what they think should be there!!

I miracle I think

I had a thread a while back about a George who was a Reckitt but adopted and used Seymour as his surname after that. This Darracott Seymour is his son but as far as I can see he married, no kids, wife died first, and this unmarried sister was named in the will.
These people are no relation to me but George came to Iceland a few times and I have seen mention of some sketches which he did while he was here so I was just wondering who inherited his estate. I found a modern day (alive) father and son with Seymour surname and middle name Darracott but I can't see how they fit in, probably just a coincidence of names. So just archive it and I will get on with more pressing matters
