Now got this one that may link somehow.

I looked up marriage for Caroline Palmer and John Holloway in 1846 at St Edmunds...which to start with was a strange place to marry as not Halesowen....but....anyway

It was really unhelpful as I thought it would show Caroline as having the father Anthony
so I am unsure if she is the sister of Frederick who married jemmima hall mother of Sarah hall who married John Holloway

still with me?

So who is this Caroline
I have for the moment kept her as the one on connections marrying John Holloway and sister of Frederick
but I will add a note to the effect that I am sure Frederick had a sister but unsure if that sister married John Holloway...

anyway
my point is...emm oh yeah...my point is

Who is this John?
with father James?
do they link to this lot the Palmers and Holloways
or another line entirely
I add this as it might shed light on the John Holloway we are now searching for

18 May 1846 St Edmunds Dudley
-John Holloway- of full age- bach- Boatman- Dudley- James Holloway- labourer
-Caroline Palmer- of full age- spinster- Dudley- no father on only the word deceased!!!
banns
X both
Wit- Edward Skidmore and Elizabeth Alec Stokes

so witnesses may help?

Thanks NL easy done. I have a John Holloway born Pedmore 1780, Pedmore is next door to Hagley:-

Thomas Holloway 1740 Married Ann Bate Pedmore 18.5.1761
Children, Thomas 1768, Ann 1771, Hannah 1777, John 1780, Sarah 1783 who Married my Richard Willetts who lived at Hayley Green/Hasbury Halesowen, so all connected there. Think this John could be Henry's father? Linell.

John HOLLOWAY married Sarah HALL. Childrens birth certificates all show maiden name HALL, except Florrie (Charlotte Florence) hers shows maiden name as PALMER. Johns father is Henry (from marriage cert) and Henry married Caroline HARRIS on 21 Oct 1838 in Stourbridge. Fathers names John HOLLOWAY & George HARRIS. Florrie was my grandmother.

Also have this family in my tree, Fruiteers from Halesowen Town.

Phoebe Bagley Fruiteer born 1812 Married Henry Hall in 1834
Sons Wm 1835 M Eliza White in 1858. Wm is a Nailer then later a Fruiteer
Henry 1840, not sure who he Married there were a few of them, so I didn't persue it.
Thomas 1842 Married Elizabeth Basterfield in 1863, he was a Nailer then later a Fruiteer.

Must be a Hall connection somewhere? Linell.
