*ARC TBC* Francis J Barker--Jo adding to Bcc

Post by kimberrywickham »

Hello

Can anyone help with this family.

Francis James Barker born 1875 Brockmoor Staffs and his wife Flora Born 1877 Wolverley Worcester they had three children Frances Flora, Phyllis May and Frederick James. They are living at 23 Crescent Road Netherton on the 1911 census.

On Ancestry some people have this family all dying in 1911, I can find no evidence to suggest that this is true, was there an epidemic or accident were this family all died together? There is evidence to suggest that Francis his wife and Phyllis went to the States, I do not have a world subscription to Ancestry so can not confirm this.

Any help with this mystery would great
Thanks Kim

Hello All

Thank you so much for all the information. It was bugging me that some people on ancestry had them all dying in the same year when there was no evidence that this was true.

Francis was my great uncle brother to Benjamin my great grandad. Yes that is the one on bcc his parents were another Benjamin Barker b 1846 and Ann Marie Bird b 1848.

Yes it would be nice to have a note on bcc, any information on the wider family is always great to have, it might also help someone else.

Sorry I do not have a marriage certificate but I am 99% certain that this is correct, they were married at Kidderminster 1900. That's them on the 1911 census. I live in Suffolk so unable to look up the marriage maybe some kind person can have a look for me.

Would some be able to email me copies of passenger list and US census returns?

Thank again for all the information my mind is at rest now.
