ARC TBC..............Thomas Brookes

Post by Rydawpark »

I thought I would go this route for this and see if you genius could help some.

I have on BCC
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =155413765

25 December 1841 Holy Trinity, Wordsley
Thomas Brooks, OFA, B, Miner, Brierley Hill, John Brooks (Dec), Miner
Eliza Lewis, OFA, S, Brierley Hill, William Lewis, Labourer
Wit: John Lewis, Maria Brooks

I know Thomas is born about 1815-16 from

1861. Thorns. Quarry Bank. census
Thomas Brookes 46. Clay Miner.
Eliza Brookes 42. Wednesbury.
Sarah Brookes 18.
William Brookes 15. Clay miner.
Henrietta Brookes 14.
Anne Brookes 10.
Elizabeth Brookes 8.
John T Brookes 9 Mo. Others born Kingswinford.

So looking for more siblings from here. I did find this and wondering how to go about finding if they match or not

Elizbth Brookes
International Genealogical Index (IGI) christening: 15 July 1821 Brierley Hill,Stafford,England
• father:John Brookes
• mother:Sarah
John Brookes
International Genealogical Index (IGI) christening: 11 May 1823 Brierley Hill,Stafford,England
• father:John Brookes
• mother:Sarah
Thomas Brookes
International Genealogical Index (IGI) christening: 28 April 1816 Brierley Hill,Stafford,England
• father:John Brookes
• mother:Sarah
Phoebe Brookes
International Genealogical Index (IGI) christening: 27 March 1814 Brierley Hill,Stafford,England
• father:John Brookes
• mother:Sarah

Do we have an 1841 census for John Brookes and Sarah with maybe John the child still living with them.

I am so amazed how many Phoebes in the BCC collection. Was it that popular of a name or are all these families related somehow

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

All easy and why I am looking for more correct answers with OCM.

The Census and marriage record that I put up for Thomas Brookes are OCM.

The Maria was a key ingredient for me but still looking for a census at least. Since married in 1841 and she is still Maria Brookes, there should be something if someone looks it up.
