hmmm dunno...

come on Farside and Di crack this one!

Phillis is the key here sure of it

Joseph b 1832 married to Mary Ann looks like he has parents Samuel Taylor and Phillis unknown - info from Marriage and bapt at st thomas

Joshua b 1839 looks like he could be that one with parents John and Mary Suki found at St Giles RR in 1845 bapt age 6 same day as his future wife!!

but then why is that Phillis living near him on the 2 census?

There is a Joshua with a John Taylor on the 1851 he is a widow
Phillis Taylor is on the 1851 with looks like a Sarah Whiteall/Whitehall/ Whittall

stumped!

Ok found the marriage for Joseph and Sarah....she is a Taylor!

JOSEPH WHITTALL
Spouse: SARAH TAYLOR Family
Marriage: 11 APR 1813 Saint Thomas, Dudley, Worcester, Extracted marriage

now Joseph is a Whittal not a Whitehall and down the census this lot are near Whittalls
so will enter this lot as that.

Joseph is b abt 1782 and Sarah 1771 ish

so was she married to a Taylor prev?
or was she unmarried either way that is where the Phillis Taylor came from.

I will look up the marriage of Joshua Taylor to Eve
I think he is the son of Phillis

but this concerns me
Poss bapt 16-3-1845 St Giles RR age 6 son of John and Mary Taylor Village nailer
same day as future wife Eve!

but is Joseph? son Of Phillis?
She has a joseph with her similar age in 1861 but different occup ie a coal miner not labourer
and Joseph is married with wife mary ann by then
so I dont think the Joseph that married Mary ann is the son of Phillis

That Bapt is at St Thomas Dudley
The marriage of Joseph is father Samuel a nailer

I have added a bapt which I am now doubting
it was for parents Samuel and Phillis in 1832
going to look at that at archives see what his prof was
and abode
cos this lot are RRegis.

I am disconnecting Phillis from samuel

So can we find on the 1851 a Samuel TAylor a nailer with son Joseph Taylor b abt 1832?

Rite I have been looking at this and taken a huge leap correctly I hope.

Need you to look at it and see what you think.

I believe that Phillis Taylor never married
I think her parents are a Josiah Taylor and Sarah Hipkiss
he dies and Sarah Taylor(nee Hipkiss) marries Joseph Whitall
they have more kids.

I have added the marriages to Connections just waiting to confirm a marriage at St Giles RRegis for Josiah Taylor and Sarah Hipkiss as being either 1793 or 1795

Now I think this Sarah Hipkiss is the dau of John Hipkiss and Mary Whorton

http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =733443224

I need confirmation of the bapt info for Sarah Hipkiss
I need confirmation of the marriage of Josiah Taylor and Sarah Hipkiss
and any witnesses
I need conf of the death in 1806 for Josiah Taylor

need other kids for Josiah Taylor and Sarah

and

other kids for Joseph Whitall and Sarah
think one was Elijah and one Issiah/Issac from memory

and need someone to let me know what they think

I have just been looking again at this Joshua Taylor
I wonder if Phillis is sister to John Taylor.

can anyone find this John on the 1851 census possibly with a dau Harriet b 1850

This John and Mary Taylor appear to be having kids at RRegis living the village
from 1822- 1850

think I saw a John Taylor widow with a Joshua on the 1851.

1839
TAYLOR Joshua Rowley Regis Sandwell Register Office RR/2/427

so yes the marriage look up will show me father
but I am wondering what the Phillis connection is?

Where is Joshua in 1841 and 1851
does John Taylor die
is he sister to Phillis :?
or is Mary?
