It's quite possible that everyone already knew this and that I'm the only thicko, but I've just discovered, when the search results come up on Ancestry military section and the results show a number of pages, that these pages run consecutively from the page reached by clicking on the search result.
Currently investigating the Hillmans of Sussex.

Sometimes the search result will drop you into the middle of a cluster of documents so it's worth checking previous pages as well, but be careful that it's not relating to someone with the same name.

There's usually a page between two peoples entries to say that it's a new person.

sometimes you get 2 lots of paperwork to the same man! you can have dozen papers listed then straight after another 20 pages :shock:
