Canadian on board!

Greetings, I've dabbled in family history a bit - but as the generation ahead of me is nearly gone now, I seem to become more curious about the past.

At this time I am concentrating on my paternal roots: COOPER, WILLIAMS are the two main names. I did some digging in the BMD files and managed to get all the siblings of my paternal grandmother (Olive WILLIAMS) and of my paternal grandfather (Arthur COOPER) - both of whom were born in Blackburn in 1894. I have traced Arthur COOPER's father Joseph Thomas COOPER born in 1869 to Upper Sheringham in the sub-district of Cromer in the County of Norfolk.

I won't go on in the introductions with all of this - but will try to find the right thread to post in order to try and find some of the information I am searching.

Looking forward to searching England from afar at this point and hoping to visit in person next year.
