Not a Pretty Sight ....

Post by Antie Em »

So - I said to the doctor - Now, I am a seamstress of some repute and I shall be inspecting this stitching. He said, well, I've had no complaints so far. Well - I removed the dressing this morning and I could quite easily have been cast in Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas.

Had a lump removed from my neck. It's been sent off for investigation, but the doc is sure it's nothing serious. It will just leave a bit of a scar. Not bad though getting to nearly 70 and it's the first time I've been stitched.

I have a particularly large Badge of Honour right up the middle of my front. The surgeon didn't do needlework ... Just glued me together and put sticky tape to hold it. Looked brilliant at first - just a thin red line. Then I...um... expanded. And so did the scar :(
Lucky for you necks don't do that much.

Should have got them to put a bolt in. But then I suppose you would need the other side done as well.
