Hi From Texas

Post by jtward »

I am researching, WARD, TWYFORD. To my dismay, the name "Ward" is only superseeded in commonality by the names of Smith and Jones, which has made the search for my WARD ancestors most frustrating. I am most interested in finding living relatives of both my grandmother, GERTRUDE E. TWYFORD, Born 1872, at Stoke on Trent, Stafford, England and my Grandfather JOHN MILLAR WARD,Occupation: New Connexion Methodist Minister, Born 1871, Chatham, Kent.
I have a particular brick wall in the form of Thomas Ward, brother of John M Ward. Thomas was born Oct 31, 1859 in Ardrossan, Ayr, Scotland. Thomas went to Mexico prior to WW1, The last record of Thomas was an anecdotal meeting with my father, Jack T. Ward Sr. in Tampico Mexico in 1938. Mexico is a virtual waste land in tracking down information on immegration prior to 1950. I welcome any leads, help or advise.
Jack T. Ward Jr.
