This is my first post, so forgive me if I sound a little thick!
I have a relative on the 1861 census and for the life of me I can't translate his occupation. I have copied and pasted all the legible information from my Ancestry account, which I hope is enough to help you find the original document. On the 1881 census, he is recorded as being a Gunmaker at the Royal Small Arms Factory in Edmonton, if this is any help!!

I agree. The first letter looks like the one in the line above "General servant" and nothing like the F in Frances or Frederick.
