Question about BMD

A quick update regarding Dora: according to my mum Dora's father was killed in an explosion at Chilwell. She thought it was in the 30's but wasn't certain. There was a famous explosion in World War I and I think it's that one myself and maybe it was he who was in his 30's. Anyway my sister in law works at what is now Chetwynd barracks and there is no Mansfield on the monument erected for those that lost their lives. So looks very likey her mum and dad didn't marry.

Also my mum says there is a headstone for Dora and Frederick so I should be able to get his birth year, and one of Dora's sisters is buried in a nearby grave and I'm hoping she was a couple or more years older and can be found on a census. My mum isn't sure which sister and has no idea of the relative ages but I might get lucky - when I find the time.
