BBC Four secret tunnels was on at 11-05- 12-05 23-5-13
Parkes & lane miners from Tipton were killed and trapped underground. Still remain there today.
Didn't catch their first names wouldnt it be good if we could find more on these guys and add to BCC and honour these lost & forgotten guys
Not sure if you could get this programme on catch up

They are both on BCC. Ezekiel Parkes is here http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/family-tree/bcconnections/262794/97878/Ezekiel-Parkes-Family and John Lane is here http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/family-tree/bcconnections/262794/97886/John-Lane-Family although he doesn't appear to be linked to anyone.

I agree it would be good to find out more about them and preserve their memory on BCC.

Wow you guys are amazing what else can I say
I know you've all been busy adding loads lately on names from ww1 so there was me gonna have a look later and you've already done it.

It also appears that they lived in same area few streets away from some of my Sheldon poss Thornton ancestors.

Thanx again 8)
