This is my first post on here. I can help with this as Benjamin born 1884 was my great-grand father.

Benjamin was born 17 Apr 1884 Kingswinford, father Benjamin Barker mother Ann Maria Barker formally Bird fathers occupation Puddler.
Informant A M Barker mother, Wallace Street Brockmoor, Kingswinford.

With his first wife Eliza Willetts they had three children Marion Maria born 04 Jan 1910 Nertherton, Benjamin Leslie know as uncle Leslie born Jun 1912 Brierley Hill and Jack born Mar 1914 Dudley. Marion was my nan my dads mum and her brother my dads uncles.

Eliza Barker nee Willetts was born 11 Oct 1884 Gateshead County Durham. She died 29 Jun 1919 age 34, Benjamin was present at the death at 41a Garrett Street, Harts Hill, Dudley.

Benjamin had a second family I have information for.

It would be nice to hear from anyone who is relate to either of the families as my dad has memories of both his uncles Leslie and Jack and of William, Cissie (Gwen) and Cyril from his second marriage.

I also have information regarding Benjamin Barkers born 1884 brother Herbert Barker born 1886 both sons of Benjamin and Ann Marie,
both boys were in WW1 Benjamin was wounded but poor Herbert lost his life when HMS Good Hope was sunk off the coast of Chile at the Battle of Coronel in 01 Nov 1914
Herbert name is on the Portsmouth Memorial, he can be found on the CWGC
