Somebody on this board is related to Gina Rinehart but I can't remember who...

Because the Aussie dollar was worth so much in the last 12 months (more than the Yankee dollar), there has been a downturn in our mining exports.

So her personal wealth dropped from $29 billion to $22 billion in the last 12 months.

That means each day she was worth $19,178,082.20c less than the day before.

Each hour she lost $799,086.76c

That is $13,318.11c per minute.

About $221 per second!

The next richest person in Australia only earned $6.8 billion.

So Gina lost more than he earned!!

I admire the lady. She inherited a couple of hundred million and has grown her companies with hard work and business acumen.

Good on her!
