A nice find

Post by mjay »

Visited my nans today, I always get her talking bout her past and family etc. Got onto subject of photos grandad and other relations in army etc etc.
Out the blue she tells me where to look for photos. I've been in my element all afternoon apart from having to leave it for a while, had to watch son play Footie for school.
When I can will post my finds. 8)
Some of these I've never seen myself why I Dunno ?

You must be thrilled mjay?

Only this week I have been sent 2 photos of my Great Grandparents Edwin & Mary Ann Rollason, which I thought I would never see, it just goes to show you never know!

Yep you heard right
So far though I've only come across grandad in the army, an uncle in his navy outfit, some wedding photos.
There's a couple of ration books and grandads army number in a pay book.
Bless me nan she still has some cards off us grand kids.
There's none of older generations that I was hoping to find, best ask me uncle next.
