Hi, Does anyone have any photos of Blackheath High Street around 1850 - 1900, particularly showing Jesse Patrick's tailors shop, John Patricks tailors and grocers shop please? I am also looking for photos of Steventon's grocers/furniture shops in Blackheath, one definitely in Malt Mill Lane, the other two, not sure of, around 1920s to 1970s. Any help gratefully received,
Heleeeen

Re: Blackheath High Street - photos wanted
thanks - I have looked at the photos, and the link you gave might actually be one containing the Malt Mill Lane shop. Trouble is, I'm too young to actually remember it so don't recognise it and when I increase the size to read the shop signs, they become too blurred. I'll show it round the older members of my family though, see if anything looks familiar,
here's hoping,
thanks to anyone who has ideas,
