Exhuming you ancesters' grave.

Post by AndrewA »

After Watching a couple of meet the ancestors combined with the latest reports from skeleton found in Jamestown re canabalism, and the amazing lifelike reconstruction, see http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-22362831, I was thinking how this would easily solve the problems of not knowing what our ancestors looked like.

So how does one go about exhuming graves? Maybe a new surge of grave robbing for skulls will emerge, in this ever increasing interest in our past, along with the commercial aspect then who knows, it may become a national project undertaken by some company or agency.

The way technology is progressing, it may even be possible to scan the contents of the coffin without even digging it up, now that would be cool.
Hit a Brickwall? Have you lost all trace of someone? Do not despair, simply make a note they were abducted by aliens! Don't believe in aliens? No problem, just write them off as having disapeared in a time portal

I'll probably be cremated, so it'll take quite a few years to develop technology that can put me back together - especially as the DNA will be gone!

If they dug me up they would claim I was the missing link.
