When Joseph Willetts married Elizabeth Priest (parents of one of the Elisha's) then the witnesses were James and Phebe Willetts.
The IGI has a marriage for James Willetts to Phoebe Homer 12 Feb 1810 at Halesowen.
But my transcription has that down as Joseph Willetts to Elizabeth Haines, witnesses Stephen Rook and Ann Hill.
Don't understand that at all.

Ok lost the plot with this one so someone else can sort this.....Willetts....aggghhh!!

The Joseph Willetts and Elizabeth Priest marriage was 13 June 1813 not 13 Jan 1813
so have corrected that.

so that would make the witnesses James and Phebe well married by then.

Joseph Willetts who married Elizabeth Haines married 1st entry 378-12 FEB 1810 Halesowen,
(no Willetts as witnesses)
and
James Willetts who married Phebe Homer married next entry 379-12 FEB 1810 Halesowen,
(James homer and sarah Homer witnesses)

so are there 3 marriages!
or did joseph marry twice

and is James the brother then to Joseph and if so can someone please fill in the blanks on Connections
