Rowbotham Family Cheshire
Any information on the Rowbotham family of Cheshire please? John Rowbotham born c1838 in Macclesfield, Cheshire He married Hannah Mason in 1857 His father was Samuel Rowbotham and her father, John Mason I think I dont have the 1841 or 1851 censuses for John. I do have a census for 1861 which could be him working as an agricultural labourer Address: Prestbury Lane, Fallibroome, married and with Hannah. John was my gr gr gr grandfather and his daughter Emily my gr gr grandmother so any information on any of these people would be great Thanks x

Just looked at the original and the transcriber had been lazy and added Scholar for both Sarah and Samuel -- there was scholar next to Margaret and William had ditto marks
As to Nurse Child -- that often described what we might call a foster child -- ie one accepted as part of the family for some reason.-- later census might help to clarify this.
