Old and Wise.......

Post by Northern Lass »

the soul afraid of dying never learns to live................

Just in reflection mode and listening to this stunning piece of music by the Alan Parsons project...

Perhaps you are already Old and wise, or maybe you are fast approaching the Old bit and hoping the wise will follow

My question to you is what do you want to achieve before the final curtain call?
Or have you already achieved it?

I want to see my daughter walk down the aisle looking every bit the princess on that day!
Might have to get a new frock for that day and leave the jeans behind!

So what is yours? or what was yours?

How old do you have to be to qualify as a "Silver Surfer"?
What if you were bald? :?

I'm saving up for flying lessons on my 90th birthday. (Thinks some more ... motorized, not those white feathery things!)

Well NL mines not as exiting as White water rafting.
I spent a year working in South Africa many years ago,in all that time I only managed two days on a game reserve so I would love to go back and shoot big game (with my camera) specially the big cats just love em.

There was an email going around some time ago ... Something about, when the time comes, to aim to skate sideways through the Pearly Gates with a bottle of wine in one hand, yelling "Wahooooo!" That's an image that inspires me. I'm planning to grow old thoroughly disgracefully ... Come to think of it ... I've already started!

I suddenly feel reflective!! :o

In the words of Tao Te Ching-
If you realize that all things change,
there is nothing you will you will try to hold on to.
If you aren't afraid of dying,
there is nothing you can't achieve. :?
