ARC TBC................Where's Herbert Humpage in 1881?

I have added a marriage for Herbert Humpage.

He married Emma Lees on 25 Dec 1880. In the 1881 census Emma is at 15 Green Lane Walsall with her parents, as Emma Lees but recorded as married. His brother John Humpage is at no 17 Green Lane. I can't find Herbert in 1881 census. In 1891 they are together at 44 Green Lane.

Can anyone see Herbert in 1881 census?

Hi KayM.
Strange she,Emma,is noted on the 1881 census as Emma Lees.Although i see she is also noted as married.
You have got the wedding details i suppose.

Marriage Place: Walsall, Staffordshire, England

Suspect he is mistranscribed somehwere in 1881!

My info was from England & Wales Marriages, 1538-1940 via ancestry.
