1st Cousins
I had a really really lovely surprise yesterday. A second cousin, or, 1st cousin once removed, contacted me yesterday via my web site on Tribal Pages. This person I haven"™t seen or spoken to for over 40 years!!
What"™s so weird, is that only a couple of weeks ago, me and Ken were reminiscing about the people we knew who went to the Safari Bar in Dudley, the one next to the Plaza picture house and I mentioned this second cousin, and then I get an email from her.
Anyway, I know that I have 18 1st cousins, whereas Ken only has 4 1st cousins and I got to thinking how many 1st cousins does everybody else have?

one is better than none, which is the number I have.
Hit a Brickwall? Have you lost all trace of someone? Do not despair, simply make a note they were abducted by aliens! Don't believe in aliens? No problem, just write them off as having disapeared in a time portal

Fathers side: 1(in Quinton) 4 went to Australia. 1 died, still in touch with 2.
Mothers side: 5 (still in touch) 7 not heard of for 40 years.
Would love to get in touch with the 'lost' ones and inform them that
our maternal grandfather was 'NOT' a Schoolmaster from Wales... but
a Commercial traveller & Road Mender from Essington,Wolverhampton!!!!!

Re: 1st Cousins
I've only got four, as Mum's an only child.
My Mum had 11. Not sure about Dad's side, as they were all a lot older than him, so I've only met a couple of them!
