We have about a foot this morning. Just had a major expedition to get bread from the freezer in the garage! Roll on summer if this is spring!

Look what we are having just to make our weird weather even more interesting......

This one hit a caravan park and luckily nobody was killed.

linell wrote:Your in the best place Jo, enjoy! Have had enough of the vile weather here, apparently next week it is going to be even colder, like -6C..........Feel sorry for people wheeling their Caravans out for the Easter Holidays. Never known such a miserable 12 months for Weather, can't wait for my holidays.

Oh did you all hear that the UK Gas Supply is also running low, only 3 weeks supply left at the moment. :o

My parents are in Hereford in their caravan, when I told them snow was forecast, Mum started packing her thermals!!

Three weeks ago I was in the garden, getting it ready for spring, but the last two weeks it's been subzero and snow. Windy as well, so there are some drifts, and my face feels like it's been ripped to shreds by that wind!

It's supposed to be up to the heady hights of 7 degrees tomorrow!! That'll get rid of the last of the snow!!

My parents survived their caravan trip, but were suprised to see how the rest of the country faired. They saw on the news, that some staff from a hotel were being interviewed, where they thought they may get snowed in after a wedding that was due to be held - only to find that this hotel was in the welsh village they lived in for 40 years, until they moved last august! The staff were't too dispondent though, as there were several luxury bedrooms they could use if needed!
Sounded as though the Midlands got hit relatively hard too, my Uncle was apparently snowed in - but then if you do live at the top of a hill in Dudley, what can you expect - maybe he should invest in a pair of skis!!!
