I saw it!
It looks just like its pictures oddly enough.
Great Northern lights here tonight too but it is a bit on the chilly side.

I could see it just as a smudge but using a rubbish pair of binoculars (son had gone off with the good ones) I could see it well enough to see the tail and all.
Usually when there is a comet/meteor shower here it is a cue for days of cloudy weather but last night was fairly clear.
