Received John & Mary's marriage certificate this morning . :P (am I sad to get excited over a certificate )
Reads

30th sept 1911 at the Parish church, Parish of Earlstown Lancaster

John Bill Downes 22 bachelor labourer 40 cherry st Father George Weaver Puddler

Mary Ann Collins 21 spinster 302 crow lane west Father John Collins Collier

Witnesses Joseph Humphries & Frances's Humphries

So following on from this it does all connect with sister on 1911 census viewtopic.php?f=31&t=14907

John born Dudley
Mary Ann believe to be born Warrington not Ireland

Peter weaver
James weaver family believe Jim as he was known never married
Alice weaver
Constance weaver (connie) family believe she died age 3
