Am looking for a William Johnston born in Ashton-in Makerfield in Wigan, Lanc. in 1846. We believe his parents were William and Jane. A search of the 1851 census for the Wigan area has produced nothing but maybe they moved to another area in the county. Any help would be appreciated.
