COMPLETED - Bare Floor Steam Mop

Post by BC Wench »

Has anybody any thoughts on what type of Steam Mop I can buy instead of the mop & bucket? We have porcelain floor tiles and hard wood flooring. Would appreciate your advice.

I use a microfiber "mop" and plain warm water - gets most things off a treat. We have wooden floors and tiles which have a rough texture - the mop works on both.
We bourght ours here in Denmark at a place that sells to proffesional cleaners.
The link is something similar, just to give an idea.

We have mops for smooth, rough and for without water. They're all machine washable and are attached with velcro.

I mentioned to my wife about a steam mop for wooden floors.
Now i'm cleaning ours!!
We,or rather me,use a wring mop and natural soap.

Don't think steam and wooden floors is a good match!
When you've done your floors, can you come and do our stairs? (Good product by the way, it's the same as I have for our stairs!)

I would also be aware of steam and wood, but the natural soap does sound good. I have a book by Christina Strutt of Cabbages and Roses .She always cleans with natural products.

Thank you all for your suggestions, much appreciated. As we have more floor tiles than wooden flooring, I think I'm going to go for the steam mop as Jo suggested, but not use it on the wooden floors.
