I suggest sending for a Birth certif for a Likely Wm Parkes not putting mother or father name see
what you get. ...costs money and could be wrong one...process of elimination.

I wondered if Ruth Parkes could be the mother of Wm Parkes you know
she doesnt marry until afer 1842.

Very often the name is made up on marriage certifs so Thomas Parkes could be made up name.
