Yes, NL, I know they both starred in Corrie! I'm old enough to remember Valerie Barlow! But I meant the story itself is nothing like Corrie. In my humble opinion.

Re: Anybody see it?
About what i think.
My opinion anyway is that if I Claudius was going to die then i was going to stop believing in Father Christmas.
But he didn't and in the end it was a happy ending.
I thought the funniest part of the series was the young fella who'd got beaten up.He was on the couch in the background, sitting in the middle of them in the car.His mother dumped him back again at the farm.Very funny.

I agree Rob - I thought that part was very funny. I thought the whole thing was very well written - equal amounts of comedy and pathos - and such brilliant actors. Should have more like that.

Re: Anybody see it?
Did anyone watch Restless? I thought it was pretty good.Espionage and intrigues leading up to USA's entry into WW2.
I didn't however get the ending.I thought she,Charlotte Rampling ,was going to be found dead by her daughter but instead she's walking in the garden peering through her binoculars!!
What did that mean?

Re: Anybody see it?
I recorded it,saw the first part, and started watching the last part, then fell asleep. Just need to watch the last half hour again! Typical of me!
