IGI Christening

Name Elizabeth Pearson
Gender: Female
Christening Date: 14 Oct 1838
Place: Brierley Hill, Staff.
Father's name: Humphrey Pearson
Mother's name: Sarah
Indexing Project
(Batch) No. C03392-2
System Origin - England -ODM
Source film No.:426499, 426500

So it appears that ELIZABETH is the daughter of Humphrey & Sarah Pearson.
I think Jan is right about Caroline on the 1841 & 1851 census, that she is actually Elizabeth Caroline Bills, going by Caroline because of the Elizabeth born 1838. She probably used her step fathers last name on her marriage to Brookes to keep us confused.
