Last week of the Mayan Calendar!

I will be really upset if the world goes BOOOOM! before I get to see the first Hobbit move on Boxing Day!

Not that I think it will happen . I would tell people what I really think of them. Giving lots of cuddles to my six grandchildren. Buy everything I have ever wanted, because I will not be around to pay the bill . Spend my last night in the best hotel I can find with my family getting drunk!!

This is what we learnt in Australia. Madman with automatic rifles and/or pistols, 35 dead and 23 injured in a few minutes at Port Arthur in Tasmania.

Madman with bolt action rifle and/or manual pistol....eight dead before he is overpowered at Australia Post office in Melbourne.

So after Port Arthur we banned the automatic rifles.

I personally handed in three rifles to be destroyed.

Now the only people legally with automatics are the Special Operations Police.

The criminals are not running around with better guns than the average citizen.

Defenseless children are not gunned down by somebody with Aspergers who finally gets sick of "normal" people treating him like rubbish.

Obama has just started his new term. Now is the time to tell the American Gun Lobby to help, not hinder, better gun laws.
