This could be a link to Richard Earp.
I have found a George Earp in the 1850 American census, it say's born about 1784 in England, living in Philadelphia.

Thanks FS for adding what we can
I do think it is important to ensure on these Earps that we keep fiction out of the fact
but it would be good if we can at some stage link to the Wyatt Earp and family
think we proceed with caution
