If this is our John or his family in 1841
where is Wm Dunn in 1851?
is Sarah his wife?
if so where is marriage?

1841 Upper Netherton, Dudley
John Dunn 70 lab
Sarah Dunn 70
William Dunn 35

Not sure if helpful or not, but i found an article in the Berrow's Worcester Journal, courtesy of FindMyPast, Sat 16 Feb 1878, page 6,
About a meeting of the Cradley Conservative Association.

Meeting held in Stourbridge

Attendees included a Thomas Fellows (I have seen Keturah Dunn's middle name listed in a number of places as Fellows, and she gave the name Keturah Fellows Keilen to her daughter born in 1895)

Attdees also included a W. Walker, Jesse's second marriage was witnessed by a Thomas Walker.

And lastly attended by "Jesse Dunn, John Dunn, Job Dunn (secretary)"

The note also said the next meeting would be held in Brierly Hill.

It might be worth contacting the Regis office at Dudley and asking for the certif for a Sarah Dunn who dies in 1843 aged 66
might get lucky with an informant and may be this Sarah
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =594011738

likewise with a death for a JOhn Dunn

but you need to send them the money first they won't proceed without payment I asked them today.

I order online via here
http://www.dudley.gov.uk/community-and- ... tificates/

They accept cards online and I find them very good to order from.
Will cost £10 each certif..not sure with you being abroad maybe email them and ask them.

You could say you only want certifs for a John and Sarah Dunn dying betw 1841 and 1851
aged 60+ and living Netherton

Will do! Thanks for the tip! I've been ordering through Ancestry.com and it is about $50 U.S. each!

That is a crazy price on Ancestry

There is the Gro too have you tried to order via there your certifs?
you can do that online too not sure howmuch it is overseas.

That Sarah who dies in 1843 is 66 so maybe start with her

trouble is even though down as 66 on burial
a) it may not be "our" Sarah
b) age on burial may be incorrect and she is maybe 70+ ...depends who is remembering their age for records.

John you could say between 60-80 see what they give you trouble is may be the wrong one when ordered no certainties :(
