Aaaaaaargh! Tree has vanished on Ancestry....

Post by MarkCDodd »

Gone. Not there anymore...

Not just an "Ancestry is busy...try again later" problem.

A complete blank in my tree list. :?

They were very quick to assure me it is a temporary glitch...and then asked if I have a synched copy with Family Tree Maker...just in case....

I synched about and hour ago but it would take a LONG time to upload the tree to ancestry....plus I have 63 people invited to the tree...

The date on my tree is correct.

I did have the certificate if I look through my pile....

My genealogy directory is now over 300GBytes in size!!! Thousand of programs I will never use...

Lets see , where can one certificate hide....

Nope, can't find it. Probably why I haven't put it on there yet....

One of his descendants sent it to me.

Looks like their tree is gone from Ancestry.

This line of Cutlers probably hook up to others we have in Halesowen in the mid to late 18th century.

But I have not traced it yet as it gets a miss messy and easy to make mistakes.

I will give it a go tomorrow.
